Introduction
CharaGacha is a tool for creating original characters: you describe a character and we generate artwork, a name, a personality and a backstory. This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may and may not create. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the service.
CharaGacha is safe for work only. We do not generate NSFW, adult or explicit content, and there is no setting that turns our safety filters off.
What You Can Create
- original characters for stories, games, tabletop campaigns, role-play, worldbuilding and streaming;
- character art in a range of styles, with outfits, settings and moods that are suitable for a general audience;
- fantasy, sci-fi and adventure themes, including armor, weapons and action poses, as long as the result is not graphic.
What Is Not Allowed
You may not use CharaGacha to create, or try to create:
- NSFW or sexual content: nudity, explicit or pornographic material, sexually suggestive poses or outfits, or fetish content;
- anything that sexualizes minors, or shows characters who are or appear to be minors in a suggestive way. We block this and may report it where the law requires;
- graphic violence: gore, mutilation, torture, or content that promotes suicide or self-harm;
- hate and harassment: content that attacks people for who they are, extremist symbols, or content meant to bully or threaten someone;
- real people: images of real, identifiable people, look-alikes, deepfakes, or content meant to impersonate or deceive;
- other people's work: existing characters, logos or other material that infringes a copyright or trademark;
- illegal content, or content that helps someone break the law.
You also may not try to get around our safety filters, for example with coded wording, misspellings or repeated attempts at a blocked request, or use automated tools to send requests in bulk.
How We Enforce This Policy
- Every request is screened by automated filters before anything is generated. Blocked requests do not use credits.
- Generated images are checked again. If an image fails the check it is not shown and your credits are returned.
- We may remove content, limit or suspend accounts that break this policy or repeatedly try to bypass our filters, and refuse refunds for accounts suspended for abuse.
Automated filters are not perfect. If a harmless request was blocked, try describing your character in different words. If you see a result that should not have been generated, please tell us.
About the AI Behind the Service
CharaGacha is an independent product. It is built on top of third-party AI models that we access through our service providers, and it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the companies that create those models.
