About CharaGacha
CharaGacha is an AI character creator for original characters (OCs). Describe an idea or pick a few options, and it draws the character and writes a name, personality and backstory to go with it.
Who it is for
Writers, artists, tabletop and role-play groups, VTubers and streamers, and anyone who wants to see a character idea on the page before putting hours into it. You do not need to know how to draw.
What you can make
- AI Character Creator: Character art plus name, personality and backstory.
- OC Generator: Quick text-only OC names, traits and backstories.
- Anime Character Creator: Original characters in an anime art style.
- Random Character Generator: Roll a complete random character with art.
- Chibi Maker: Cute chibi characters and blank chibi bases.
- Fursona Maker: Design a SFW fursona from any species.
- VTuber Maker: 2D VTuber character designs for your channel.
- PNGTuber Maker: A set of PNGTuber expression frames.
- Emote Maker: Twitch and Discord emotes of your character.
- Backstory Generator: Character backstories with hooks and secrets.
- Fantasy Name Generator: Free names for characters, places and worlds.
How it works
One AI model writes the character profile and another draws the art. Everything you create is saved to My Characters in your account, where you can download it or delete it at any time.
Generating uses credits. New accounts get 10 free credits, and credits are only used when a result is delivered: a failed or blocked request costs nothing. Credit packs and plans are on the pricing page.
What we do not make
CharaGacha is safe for work and built for original characters. Adult or graphic content, images of real people, and copies of characters from existing anime, games or films are not allowed. The full rules are in our Acceptable Use Policy.
An independent product
CharaGacha is an independent product. It is built on third-party AI models and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies that make them.
